Prices For Illustration Work

$50 per Spot (3″ by 5″ max), single item, ink only illustration. Basic usage rights.

Small, simple illustration, ideal for chapter heading image or corner decoration. You are paying for the right to use the illustration in your current project as well as in advertising for your project. I retain copyright of original art, the original art, the right to use the illustration in other projects, merchandising rights (which can be purchased at a later date), and the right to use the illustration in my portfolio.

A  quarter is an illustration that takes a quarter of the page.

A half is one half a page.

A full is a whole page.

A spread is two pages.

$300 per Book cover, full usage rights.

You provide the text and explain your expectations and I will work with you to make the perfect cover for your work. Book cover includes design, font finding, 2 revisions, and preparation for both print and e-book.You retain right to use the illustration on the cover, as well as for advertising and merchandise for the book.  I retain copyright of original art, original art (if using my original art), and right to use the illustration in portfolio.
